Chewy Chocolate Brownies

Best brownie recipe ever. Easy to make, and super delicious!

 2 cups (300g) Wonder's Dark Chocolate Chips (or any dark chocolate)
 ½ chopped pecans (optional)
 powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Dry Ingredients
  cup all purpose flour
 ½ tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp salt
Wet Mixing Bowl
  cup butter, softened
 ½ cup sugar (reduce to 1/4 cups for less sweet)
 ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 2 eggs

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Melt 1 cup of dark chocolate and set aside to cool. [either using microwave or double boiler until completely melted]

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add in vanilla and eggs. Beat well.

Slowly stir in melted chocolate. Mix well.

Gradually add flour mixture to chocolate mixture and mix until smooth.

Using a spatula, stir in the remaining 1 cup of dark chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate). And chopped pecans (optional)

Spread into greased 8-inch square baking pan. (don't worry it will rise up in the oven!)

Bake for 30-35 mins. To test, make sure center comes out clean *when poked with a skewer.

Let cool in pan and dust with powdered sugar (optional).
